| Surgical oncology - The Surgical Oncology at AMRI Hospital provides diagnostic and consultative services for individuals with problems related to general surgical oncology. Specifically, the department provides expertise in the care of patients with malignancies of the breast, skin, soft tissues, gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, spleen, and lymph glands. The department has a close interaction with other multidisciplinary departments within the Cancer Center. |

| Haemato oncology - The Haemato-Oncology division at AMRI Cancer Center has developed its activity, on behalf of the Medical Oncology Dept. The Division may assure all therapeutic options for patient with hematological malignancies. The Unit provides care for patients with hematological malignancies (e.g. non Hodgkin's lymphomas, acute leukemia and multiple myeloma), and those with solid tumors for whom high-dose chemotherapy (HDC) and autologous peripheral blood progenitor cell (PBPC) support is a standard or investigational treatment option. Most patients are included in clinical trials. |
| Gynecological oncology - The Unit for Gynecological Oncology functions as a division within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the AMRI Hospital . As a unit we focus on the diagnosis and management of early and more advanced cancer of the gynecological system and also on the diagnosis and treatment of pre-cancer lesions. This unit has a long history of excellent clinical management of patients and also of research of international standard. We provide a caring and professional service to the population of West Bengal and also for patients from further away. We believe in a multi-disciplinary team approach for all clinical management decisions and we have regular contact with related departments within AMRI Hospital . The team at AMRI Hospital adopts a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment planning and care for both inpatients and outpatients. |
