| Laproscopic Surgeries |
| LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY this surgery is popularly known as Key-Hole surgery is an advanced and effective way to treat diseases in the gynecological, Abdominal, Thoracic and Urological field. The surgeon makes tiny incisions in the abdomen, unlike the long incisions required in open surgery, which do not traumatize the muscle tissue so the patient experiences much less pain after surgery and can resume normal activities within a week. A thin tube is inserted in an incision. Through this tube the surgeon inserts the laparoscope which consists of a small video camera and light source. |
| This camera sends actual image to the monitor, allowing the surgeon to see inside the body. The surgeon uses these small tubes to insert instruments inside the body to perform the surgery. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and patient can expect to have some symptoms like nausea, while the patient recovers. In most cases the patient can have small amount of liquids the same evening and expected to be discharged within 48 hours. Full activity can be resumed as soon as the patient feels comfortable. |
